How do I search my video? – Camio

Open your video history and enter a query and/or click the buttons in the Search panel.

The search box supports many type of queries and auto-completes the query terms seen in your video feed. When viewing Events in your feed, you can also refine your search.

You can also use natural language for simple dates and times like:

You can pin your favorite searches to get alerts whenever new events match your search.

Even without typing a specific search, Camio shows you only the important Events by default. To see everything recorded, regardless of whether it was deemed interesting to you, include "all" in your search, or choose "All" in the search settings at the right side of the search box.

Search Refinements

As you view Events in your video feed, you may want to constrain your search to a specific set of cameras.

  1. Search Selected Cameras Click the checkbox of one or more Events in your feed and then choose the multi-select overflow menu item "Search Selected Cameras" to start a new query consisting only of the cameras associated with the Events you've selected.

  2. Click on a camera name The camera name shown on each Event in your feed links to a new search for that specific camera only.

  3. Click on a timestamp The timestamp shown on each Event in your feed links to a new search starting at that timestamp.

  4. Click on a Camera Label When the camera of an Event has been given a label, you'll see a dropdown next to the camera name that shows the labels given to that camera. Clicking on a label issues a new search for that label.

hint: the keyboard shortcut character '/' (slash key) opens the Search box.
