Search-based video alerts
No one wants their phone buzzing with alerts every time a car drives by their house. Yet, that’s exactly what happens when you set up most security cameras. Getting dozens of notifications each day is not only annoying but it also drowns out useful information amidst all the surrounding noise.
If you want notifications only when your kids come home or if a car pulls into your driveway, try Camio’s new search-based alerts. Camio learns what’s interesting to you in the scene and will alert you only if it sees something that matches a search you’ve “pinned”.
Say you want alerts only when cars pull into a zone called “driveway”. Here’s how you do it:
- Enter “ cars approaching driveway” in the search box and press return/enter.
- Click in the search box again to see the list of your recent searches
- Click the “pin” icon next to the query “cars approaching driveway”.
Voila! You’ll now be alerted whenever a car pulls into your driveway.
With an ease similar to doing a Google Search, you can start getting intelligent information about the world around you in real-time, free of effort and free of noise. Learn more.
